The website of the Church of England, Diocese of Newcastle.  Contains useful information about what’s going on in the Diocese and further afield.

The national Readers’ website – “dedicated to serving the fast-growing lay ministry of Readers in the British Isles and Europe.”
Contains useful information about Reader Ministry – including an excellent “Resources” section.

The Church of England’s website.  A great way of keeping informed about issues and events in the Church of England.  Contains topical prayers, and other resources for prayer and worship including The Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship.

The website for the Lindisfarne Regional Training Partnership, which “provides learning opportunities for adult Christians” in the North East.
Includes information on Reader Training and training for Ordained Ministry, as well as details of shorter courses for people wishing to explore their faith and discipleship.

A great wealth of resources, including daily prayer, hymns, prayer books and several versions of the Bible text including an audio bible.

The website for Shepherds Dene – the Diocesan Retreat House and venue of the annual Readers Retreat.  Includes a programme of events for quiet days and guided retreats.

New website for the Northumbria Community.  Includes their Daily Office of Celtic Daily Prayer; There is also information about retreats at their new Mother House at Acton Home Farm, near Felton.
